American Solar Energy Society’s Solar 2019 conference
In August 2019: Power Systems Journey was presented at the American Solar Energy Society’s Solar 2019 conference in Minneapolis. We enjoyed meeting conference participants at our poster, forum discussion, and switch presentation. Special thanks to student, Jack Pauley for designing the poster about student story maps, and to Aaron Hanson of Energy Transition Lab, and student Allison Chang for joining instructors, Paul Imbertson and Jonee Kulman Brigham in presenting at the Forum. The presentations were from the class ,”Power Systems Journey,” which is based on Earth Systems Journey. At the panel, Jonee read the poem “Acting it Out: Planetary Stage Directions” based on experiences in the class.

Mississippi River Water Journey Camps Exhibit
July 2019, Commons Meeting and Art Space, Institute on the Environment, University of Minnesota
Jonee of Full Spring Studio designed this annual exhibit to highlight the photography and artwork of campers, age 6-12 who participate in two camps: Water Journeys: Drink! and Water Journeys: Rain! The camps are based on the Earth Systems Journey Model and Jonee is the coordinating teacher, working with a new collaborating teacher each year.
